Are you looking for a lightweight polycarbonate (Lexan) windshield for your racecar? Something that's very light, even if flimsy?
We now offer a 1/8" thick polycarbonate windshield for the 90-05 Miata! At only 6lbs, this is probably the lightest option on the market. The factory windshield is approximately 21 lbs, so this is 15lbs lighter!
This is for off-road, racing use only. Check your rules to make sure this is allowed and meets the specs. Bracing the windshield is recommended as this is very thin to maximize weight savings. Tested in our shop car to 117.99mph without issue.
Professional installation highly recommended. Windshield is cut to shape, but no mounting holes are drilled.
