Miata MX5 Electric Water Pump Conversion Kit With 16AN FITTING

You have found the one and only option for an electric water pump conversion for the Mazda BP 1.8! 

This bracket will bolt in place of the factory water pump. It includes a 16AN Male Water Inlet connection to connect to an electric water pump. Other than the 16AN Fitting welded to the part, this part is solid billet!

Exit port on backside tapers out to better distribute flow around the block to further improve cooling and reduce pumping losses. 

The bracket is made from 6061 T6 CNC Billet Aluminum. 

Provisions include for the timing belt idler pulley and tensioner pulley. 

Before purchasing, please note the following:

1. This part is not compatible with the factory plastic timing belt covers.

2. This part does allow the timing belt to be tensioned using the factory tensioner, however this has to be done manually (as should be done on a race motor) as provisions for the weak factory Mazda spring are not supported. 

3. This part is customized with a 16AN fitting for customers who need it. This adds a few days lead time as these are welded on as-ordered.

4. Some pics show the 1 1/4" Hose barb, but THIS LISTING is for the 16AN male fitting version. Your part will have a 16AN fitting instead of a hose barb.
